REI partnered with Outdoor Afro to create a custom line of apparel and merch to celebrate all things outdoor. It was a dope event that featured performances and installations. I was tapped for this event to create a coloring book installation to theme of “We Are Nature” and “Pick Your Adventure”, which is a combination of celebrating the city of Oakland and the outdoors of the Bay Area.

Its one thing to design on a tablet or paper, but its another to see your art come to life in installation form. I created a themed illustration for “A Library in the Woods” that served as a backdrop for the Outdoor Afro book signing.
